it may be a rubbbish question. what's gonna support the earth if we drll the earth. and you are doing so much harm to the earth. and it's hot down there. the magma or the hot liquid down there may start spilling out more often. and what about the water in the sea? it will flood the whole tunnel. it is totally immpossible. if that can be done we can cut the earth into half. you are going to cut the plates into pieces. nothing can hold so much weight so basically, nothing can be use to make the tunnel. if we could do that, we can have the gravititional thing in the earth out. i guess that's never going to happen.

No, it is not possible to do so. Though the outer part (crust) of the earth looks to be solid and cool, the inner part (core) is still in molten state and the temperature is still boiling around 5000 to 6000 degrees centigrade.

Given this high temperature, there is no metal ( rather still to be found ) in this planet to cope with that heat. So, at this stage it is not at all possible to drill a whole into the earth and to reach the other side through it.

although the following links are out of the scope for this question, they might be useful to understand more about earths different layers....

actually no. because to be able to drill the earth, you need machineries that are just dreams in our present time, also you have to drill across the mantle, thousand of feet deep, and of course, the core which is very very very very veryx568493237859 times very hot and pressure is also extremely high which makes it impossible for anything to pass through it.
uh, maybe this is a rubbish q. i just wanted to answer it though. plus, if you drill from usa through asia (or any other opposite places), won't you be cutting the earth in half already? what happens then, do we fall?

The inner core of the earth is molten rock/lava. No way to drill through to the other side. It'd be too hot for any type equipment to survive. Theoretically it "might" be possible but the cost would be overwhelming.

When I was 8, I started digging a hole from Texas USA to China.
It was in the back yard of our family home.
My mom made me fill in the hole.
She probably didn't want a bunch of Chinese guys hanging around the house.

That's not possible at present. Maybe in the future that's gonna happen...
