Yes. Communication is two-way street. If the person you are talking to isn't listening, you might as well be howling at the moon.

Yes. This I feel is due to the fact that I am usually very blunt thus no one pays attention to what I am saying.
It seems that in order to get the point across, the person has to like to hear what I am saying. Unfortunately, the truth is not always pleasant no matter how you sugar coat it. So the saying "The truth hurts" in my case also hurts me getting my point of view across.

I feel that why every time I talk to one of my best friends. Sometimes I think she just disagrees with me to argue. Lately I have been just giving up on it because if she wants to be closed minded then that is her problem. I just bothers me when she is wrong about something, like if she thought the sky was orange and I knew it was blue well, i would be wrong she would argue till the death about it. And it doesn't mater how many people I could get to tell her it is blue she would still think it is orange.

perception is a funny thing...some people have closed and narrow minds while others may look at things differently. Try not to be judgemental. You never know, you may have got your point accross but they didn't want to admit it and would rather fight their point.
If all pulled in one direction, the world would keel over.

YES! Especially when people argue to me about being a vegetarian. They say "god put animals on this earth for us to eat" then i say "I know that but we don't have to torture them the way we do to get what we want". They either walk away or come up with something completely stupid.

sometimes, but rarely. I tend to get lost in the details, I guess I reflect about them too much (reflect / worry... )
