Hello,

My wife is 7 weeks pregnant. She got her sonography done yesterday and the doctor mentioned that the baby growth is around slow by around 7 days.

Is it a problem? She also gave an injection medication which she has to continue for 8 sessions.

Could stress and less nutrition be a cause for the same. Life's been a little hectic and she has been on a move working.

Any tips on the kind of rest as well as food pattern would be appreciated. She is a pure Vegeterian food eater.

Thanks

Don't worry. Things like this happen usually because the conception date is not always what you calculate it to be. Also all the sonograms have an error factor involved while calculating the fetus age. 1 week error after seven weeks is nothing to worry about at the moment. But do give her all the rest she needs and keep yourself involved with her activities. She needs you now more than she ever needed you before. Baby will grow all right.
