I liked Land Of the Lost. Not a movie, but a series. Of coarse, that was the 70's and I was a kid (it was a kids show).

A father and his son and daughter fall back into time to the dinosaur age. You can now get it on DVD.

Sure it's older...but it was original..back then.

Now books....there are alot of time travel books I could recommend....Especially by Diana Giabaldon

12 Monkeys- World is destroyed in epidemic and future scientists send prisoner back in time to try to prevent it. Good ending.
Frequency- Son talks to his father through a ham radio and tries to change history. Good mystery.
I second Somewhere in time for a romantic movie.
