Well, I was applying to be a fire fighter. I studied what I had to do to be sucessful. I had a passion for it. I passed my tests. And then I found out two things that would make it really tough to work that occupation. #1: that my wife is pregnant with twins, #2: that the fire dept only starts you off @ $31k, Even if you learn EMT skills, you only get 34k. That was not enough to support a family of 6 with me being the only one working.
Now, can you learn to enjoy the job you have? Yes. That's not the same as going after your dream job and getting it. If you genuinely like your job but its not your dream job, then the two are miles apart from each other.

I think that jobs and personal time should weave together to the point where you don't really know which is which...
You should do what you love and not worry about the money... unless you have children. Then you must at least be concerned enough about money so that your children are well fed.
But you would also teach young people a valuable lesson by not staying at a job that makes you miserable.
More kids need to see examples of people who know how to walk away from a bad company.

no. i think it depends on what kind of lifestyle you're willing to settle for. me personally, i enjoy pottery and painting. i could easily set up a store and sell my products, but since i'm not the greatest potter or painter in the world i probably wouldn't be so successful so my lifestyle wouldn't be as luxurious as most people prefer. however, this would be my job and i would enjoy it.
in my case again i am a pastry chef and i absolutely love it. i've opened up my own small place with my mum and it's a great job. i enjoy it and we're doing quite well.
bottom line, yes it's easy to find a job you enjoy. but sometimes you don't know what you'll enjoy until you do it so don't be afraid to try out as many jobs as you like

Depends what you enjoy. If you enjoy pumping gas, then it shouldn't be too hard. If you enjoy living in a space station then you could have a problem.

Actually, it is not difficult at all. Once you realize what it takes to get it, do that, then you have it.
I can explain no further. You have to figure it out on your own. It is REALLY simple though.

It can be. But if you really enjoy your job - you'll never work a day in your life!
So, its worth it.
