How do i put a password on a folder, so that no one can go into it?

go to download.com and type in search folderlocker in freeware mode. and u download it.

(if u make folder private, everyone will see it by using search program.)

Here is something half-useful. Right click on the folder, click on the sharing tab and tick off the feature for making the folder private. Now the folder can be accessed only by you (you means anyone who logs in as the user who set the privacy on).

look for 3rd party software like folder lock any way none of the software is fool proof thereby encrypt your content with latest encryption algorithm

You can't put in a password, but you can option it and hide it. The only way to be able to open it is to show the thing back again.
