travel questions, there is travel websites, realtionship questions there is self help books, ......etc The internet can get you all the info you need?

There are as many answers to this question as there are users of this site.
True the Internet is full of information, but it also contains a great deal of misinformation. Add to this that more and more site try to do nothing more than sell you a product (including travel tickets, self help books, etc.) that may be worthless.
Not everyone is a guru on using search engines. How do you sort over one millions hits (some of which do not even contain any useful information on the topic you requested)? And how do you look up a word that you can't even spell?
This site promote knoweldge, not information. Knowledge includes experience and wisdom that you will not find on most other sites. Knowledge can explain how to solve a problem, not just give you the same answer from the back of the text. This is rare.
This site also can give a wider experience than local points of view. Society & Culture? These are changing. A student is no longer trapped with having a poor teacher who understands the topic of study only slightly better than the student. A Christian can learn about another religion from someone who practices it, not just somebody who has read a little about it. A person who has lived through an abusive relationship can hear about others who have survived something similar.
If everything was so easily available on the Internet as a whole, you could have found the answer to this question without having to post it here. The site is new. The concept is awesome. Real questions from real people being answered by real people. You can agree with some of the answers or not as you wish. It can give you a different outlook, a point in the right direction, a bit of wisdom or common knowledge that you are not likely to find anywhere else.

coz there are questions that are best answered by people who go through the same experience and with varied opinions especially in relationship category..
