I hardly felt my baby until the end of the 8th month. She was absolutely fine, and is now a healthy, growing toddler.

The position of the womb is different for different women; some carry the baby lower or higher, which can affect where those tiny feet kick...(I guarantee you will jump if your baby kicks you in the right place; he just may not be placed high enough or low enough to reach it).

Babies tend to be more active at night; all your daily routine at work lulls them to sleep; your walking around soothes them. Mine only kicked at night, and if you are already tired, you might not notice it as much.

Talk to your doctor about your concerns, but try to relax a bit...It sounds like your baby is just fine.

Good luck to you!

Trust me hun...in about a month and a half you will wish he would NEVER move. I was the same way, but as soon as i hit 8 months i could literally see his foot kicking out of my stomach...the outline and everything. it kept me awake all night, and made me jump when it would happen. at 6 months the baby is still tiny and doesnt really do much but sleep, hiccup, and suck on his/her thumb. everything is fine as long and the heartbeat and everything, and the ultrasounds are normal! I promise!!

its normal. there's no problem. you cant feel it that much because it's your first time mom... the research says that fat people seldom felt the baby's movement from 4-6 months. that includes first time moms....

Trust the doctor, I'm sure they've seen it all before.
