I read in a magazine a few years ago that 4::00 am was the best time. Because that is when his testosterone is the highest. Now waking a man up at 4:00 am is difficult, but I know if I wake up and I want to then i will wake him up also.

ten years i've been married and can not answer that question.
there is no time, u have to set the mood. and if you find yourselves falling into ruteen of carpool, shopping, dinner, parenting etc, then take a weeend off to light a spark again. once u get that spark, hold on to it cuz that's what helps your love grow. pinch his butt every once in a while - in a romantic way. hug him from the back. prepare him the day before a muffin pan and bake it the next morn early so that when it's time for him to leave to work he can have a hot muffin with a note that says: 'a hot muffin for my hot husband' (now u turned him on and he'll probably do the work for u later that evening)

After the house is clean; dishes are done; kids are asleep; laundry is hung--then you won't have all of those things distracting you--and it might work out better--if you don't fall asleep!
Early in the morning is the greatest--before anything can distract you. Just wake up before either of you need to rush out the door.
