yes, it's always mainly hope that fills them... hope to be loved back, hope to be happy, hope to surpass the problems, etc.

Definitely. Nothing like standing on a ledge at 3,000 feet, with a pack on your back and looking at thousands of acres of primitive wilderness to give you hope. Hope that maybe, just maybe, mankind won't totally FUBAR this planet up past the point of no return. And then you go back to L.A. or Chicago or whatever big city and your gut just turns into a rock again.

well kind of...in the beginning i am still empty...but the space allows me to think...about what i can hope for...
