Aryell.
To answer this question your age would really be needed to determine in what phase of life you are Fertile or Menopausal or whether you have some deeper problem that needs to be investigated more thoroughly. Forums like this can only guess about what it MIGHT be and in giving information that the asker might want to hear ignores the problem until its too late.
As a doctor i advise you to make an appointment with a Gynecologist through referral and have the matter thoroughly investigated to eliminate some of the unpleasant conditions that elicit these symptoms you describe.
Don't delay and play Russian Roulette with your health and body, seek professional and sound medical advice.

That happens to me all the time. Just when I think it has run its course, it starts up again for a couple days with spotting and a light flow. I have my regular paps, have discussed this w/ my gynocologist and he said that everything is okay.
If you are really worried about it, you should see your doctor. No two women are the same - family history and your daily activities also might have something to do with this.
I hope that helps.

Go see a doctor. You can get severely anemic if you bleed for that long.
Are you on birth control? I had mine for 6 weeks when I tried the Ortho-Evra patch, which I would never use or recommend. Do NOT use the patch, it's not safe and there are all sorts of studies coming out to substantiate that.

You shouldn't be too concerned. No woman's period is exactly the same. I'll bleed moderate to heavy for two days, then skip a day, then it comes back light on the fourth day. Odd, but nothing strange about it. It's just the way my body seems to be.
Besides...are you new to have a period? Mine didn't develop a pattern until almost a year after I got my first.

Better consult a doctor. This is abnormal. You might be having some hormonal problem or abnormality in the uterus or ovary. The doctor will check you with ultrasound to find out if there's something wrong to said organs.

It's normalish. never happended to me, but if it did, i'd go see a doctor. I hate my period as it is, and I only get if for like 3 days. Go see your GP or call and ask the nurse if you don't want to see the doctor.

i would worry about it. are you on any meds? birth control can cause these issues. i'd call your ob/gyn and go in for a complete exam. it could be nothing or you could have a cyst causing problems. better to know, if it is anything.
