try craigslist.org, find your city, go under jobs, and search for operator.

You need a landline, not a cell phone, and it can't be broadband, it has to be through the phone company. You need to be available during the hours they want, and you can't have a crying baby in the background or other distractions. That being said, they will train you. The way to find them is to go to the alternative paper in your town, or the yellow pages, and find the numbers for phone sex. Call and tell them you want to work for the company, and the owner will call you back and tell you what's required. You have to be creative and willing to lie.
