rap/hip-hop is not music. It's bad poetry shouted by illiterates to canned moronic beats played by no musicians. Who would have thought they'd have found enough idiots to keep such a stupid concept going this long? When I first heard of it I laughed and gave the idea two, three weeks tops.

I would say that from the time I really got into music at the age of 10, it has shifted so much, the biggest phase being hip/r&b/rap, but now it seems to be leading in the direction of hardcore rock or heavy metal(whatever they call it now......)

Well according to Myspace.com Rock is the most popular. The most popular rock band I found was fall out boy with 1.5 million fans.The most popular Raper I found was TI with 1.2 million.
