Creationists claim that the ‘science’ of the Bible is superior to the empirically-based epistemology of human knowledge that discovered, among other things, the scientific theory of biological evolution.
However, they go to doctors who practice medicine that is based (100%) on the theory of evolution. In fact, without the theory of evolution, modern medical science is no more than witchcraft and voodoo.
Why do Creationists forsake the non-evolution based medical practices of the Bible and take their ailments to practitioners of evolution-based science? Don’t they worry that their God will be offended by this obvious lack of faith?

And there are many in the medical profession that question the qualification os such MDs.
And, medcal science ids based on evolution - as is every life science and many disciplines in other fields of science that have any connection to biology.

Denial of evolution is denial of reality. That is the truth. There is no alternative model that can touch it. Rejection of science is the result of ignorance or dishonesty - there is no third choice.

It is rare, but as you must know there are instances when people refuse medical care for religious reasons. It is usually only newsworthy when it involves parents make such decisions on behalf of children.
My point is that you cannot pick and choose here. ‘Helping understanding’ is an equivocation of ‘explain’, which is what evolution does (and what defines scientific theories)
1.The same empirical-based scientific method that gave us electricity, gravity, and evolution has been the basis for the advances in medicine we have seen over he past 150 years (amazing, that it is just happens to be coincidental with the development of modern science [which happens to be coincidental with the theory of evolution], isn’t it?).
2.Without evolution there is no cell-molecular theory, no genetics, and no DNA since the theory drove the research and is what justifies the results. They make no sense outside this explanatory model.

3.More critically, there is no biological science – at all – without the scientific theory of evolution, and without biology there are no life-sciences (which includes medical science).
Whether a person can perform a technical function without knowing or accepting evolution is irrelevant (although it can be argued that in some cases this may call a practitioners competence into question. Similarly, an electrician does not have to beware of electrons to perform some tasks – although it is a good bet that such a person is not likely to find the great unifying theory that physicists seek, either. In fact, they unifying theory that eludes physicists is what evolution provides to the life sciences. Evolution is the single most powerful explanatory model in all of science – period.
What possible advancement can come in medical science that will not have its basis in evolution? Certainly we are in the dark most about human bio-chemistry (in particular human brain bio-chemistry).

Creationism and Intelligent Design are not competing theories of evolution. They are, at most and where empirically testable, hypotheses. Hypotheses, it should be pointed out, that have been demonstrated false.
They are clearly non-scientific in every aspect where the reference extra-natural and/or supernatural explanations – which, by definition, are not valid scientific explanations because they cannot be evaluated scientifically.
