Im trying to remember this movie that Whoopie stars in,i cant remember too much but in it i THINK shes gay and her friend,a white woman,has AIDS. I think Whoopie moves in to take care of her.

It's Boys on The Side. Whoopie is in love with her friend, but she does'nt let her know. It's a really good movie. Makes you cry though.

She acted as a lesbian but the irony thing is that her straight friend has AIDS.
she even sang 'You've got it' (originally by Roy orbison) in the movie n it was really good.
