They have NO plan, otherwise you would have heard one by now.
Their platform and agenda is Bush hating and any attacks they can make on conservatives.

Overall, you seem like you lean more Democratic than Republican. Your support for taxing the wealthy would be totally anathema to most Republicans, as would more government regulation of business. However, the current economic crisis shows that more, not less of a watchful eye is needed over avaricious captains of industry, especially those in the financial industry. Believe it or not, there are many Democrats who support capital punishment and oppose gun controls, and there are many Republicans who oppose the former and support the latter. However, with the many cases coming to light about people wrongfully convicted and sentenced to long jail terms based on flimsy evidence, which is later shown to be wrong, and which is presented without thorough investigation by overzealous prosecutors and police, the issue of capital punishment is sure to remain a hot-button matter of disagreement among the public.

The Iraqi War was a necessity for economic reasons. Unfortunately President Bush (and our congress) lied to the American people about the reasons we needed to dethrone Hussein. This is the fault of both our main political parties. The reason we were not in and out of Iraq sooner is because of poor decisions made by the administration in the beginning of the assault on Iraq. The Democrats have not had an alternate plan because one does not exist. Some idiots say pull out the troops now. Some idiots say send in more troops. Some idiots say nuke em'. What we need is honesty and fact. We need to continue training Iraqi troops and pulling U.S. forces out of direct contact and conflict with the Iranians as fast as trained Iraqi Army units can take over. Both a build up and a withdraw of troops are bad answers to solving this. Left wing protesters weaken our negotiating abilities world wide. So does the arrogance of Americas right wing and the Bush administration. A true Conservative is one who believes in negotiating the problem and solving it logically. Unfortunately our politicians are divided by party and money and have no logic. War is a necessary evil of Capitalism so if you want to see the U.S. continue to survive as a unified county, you need to get away from extremes and try to elect Honest people to public office, not the religious fanatics of the left and right.

Apparently, the consensus Democratic plan is to steadily redeploy forces eventually outside of Iraq, in a neighboring country such as Kuwait, within striking range but outside the risks of being targets in what is a Civil War. Deep down, however, I think the Democratic Party would like to see the U.S. pull out of Iraq as soon as possible because it feels we shouldn't have there in the first place.

the democrats don't have a plan for the whole iraq situation....their main basis of protocols is to send the troops home from iraq and let iraq control its own government...the republicans were originally the ones that have many plans for the war but not until recently, they are now actually oppose to it considering the fact the many civilians are against it that also affected the ruling of the white house that went to the democrats mainly because they are the ones against the war and people were for that... now in spite of the fact that the republicans were against this... president bush is still pushing for the war to keep pending even though his fellow republicans do not support it...the plan is to send more troops and still enforce american influence and policy in iraq.....

well there's different plans, Hillary has announced her plans. and yes the whole Democratic party is not behind one single resolution but i think thats better than the whole of the republicans sticking to Bush's plan that is not working. Plus democrats are doing wayyyy better in congress than the republicans i mean just see what they got Bush to say in the inaugural address.

They have no plan. "Bring the troops home" is hidden agenda for "we want Bush to fail."
And why should they ask Oprah? She is an entertainer and doesn't know squat about US foreign policy or war strategy.

But then Bush can only get us in a mess, and leave it up to others to clean up the mess

There will always be terror just like drugs ,you cant stop it.I propose we stop trying to be rambo,& bring our troops home ASAP,or we could follow your plan and eventually start war with Iran & every one else who opposes us witch is most of the world.Just keep in mind Rambo was just a movie things dont work that way in the real world .No here in reality you go around starting bogus wars they eventually come to your door step.Guess if that happens youll just have to deal with it tough guy.

Washington, DC - Joined by Congresswoman Barbara Lee (CA), and Maxine Waters (CA), Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey (Petaluma) today introduced the Bring Our Troops Home and Sovereignty of Iraq Restoration Act of 2007, sweeping legislation, which would establish a 6-month timeframe for withdrawal for all US military forces from Iraq, provide a framework for bringing stability back to Iraq, and fully fund the VA health care system. The proposal is a direct response to President Bush’s challenge over the weekend for those who oppose his planed escalation to put forth a plan of their own. Woolsey introduced the bill during a press conference held this afternoon in the Capitol. Below are her remarks, as prepared for delivery:
