Anyone know if and when the third film is coming out, and what it is called? I just saw Day Watch, and it seemed like a good way to end the story, so I'm confused about where the series will go from here.

Also, if there is a third film, plot details would be much appreciated!

Duskwatch will be a Fox pictures release...and American film...by american producers...

froman interview with Director BEKMAMBETOV:

"F: Was NIGHT WATCH always intended to be three movies, or did that happen after you did the first movie?

TIMUR BEKMAMBETOV: I was originally looking at it as three movies. What we have now, the three movies become two Russian movies where we finish the story with DAY WATCH and the story about Anton Gorodestsky in Russia. Now, in the United States, we will produce a sequel. It will be about what’s happened at the same time in the U.S. as what was happening in Russia and how this story in Russia affects the reality here.

iF: Will there be characters from the other movies in American version?

BEKMAMBETOV: I hope so. I can’t tell you for sure. It’s not just my decision. It’s the producers. It’s a process, but I would like to have some of the Russian characters back, to keep them in this story.

iF: So, everything we saw in NIGHT WATCH, that’s all wrapped up in DAY WATCH?"

t's assumed that the story will revolve around the American Offices of the Day and Night Watches. There are Others -- and, hence, Watches -- thoughout the entire world. That was shown in a scene in "Night Watch" in the apartment across from Svetlana's where Geser set-up the mobile command center: there is a world communications center, where Night Watch agents are heard communicating with offices around the world; you can clearly hear German, English, Spanish and French being spoken.

The movie Fox is making is just based on the world that Lukyanenko built, but has no relation to the books at all (although it may allude to events from the books, who knows?). The movies Night Watch and Day Watch (I just saw Day Watch tonight,it was fantastic!) also take liberties with Lukyanenko's books. Night Watch and Day Watch really only follow stories based in the first novel "Night Watch" - The stories in Day Watch (Dnevnoy Dozor), Twilight Watch (Sumerechnyy Dozor) and Final Watch (Posledniy Dozor)are yet to be told theatrically.

You got to see Day Watch already!?! Sigh. The release date for the US isn't until Aug 2007...

There is a third film, it was designed from the start to be a trilogy (as they mentioned in the promos for Night Watch). The international title is Dusk Watch. It will probably be released in Russia this year sometime.

No! I know this may occasionally sound loopy to a few of you however i really like and honor my spouse an excessive amount of to do that. If I watched pornographic movies in any respect it might dictate that I don't have any respect for her and have misplaced interest in my wife. If it weren't for my wife and her kindness, her love and working out, I may be dead and even in prison now. I cannot and won't dishonor one of these princess.
