Don't feel bad just because you're not in a relationship on Valentine's Day. People tend to think that they've 'failed' romantically in some way when they don't have a date on Valentine's. That's definitely not true! There are lots of wonderful, single people out there who just haven't found what they're looking for.

What can you do? Do whatever you want! If you want to find a date so you won't be 'alone' that one day, then do it. If there's a guy you like, go ahead and ask him out. Valentine's Day is as good a day as any. Or if there's no suitable guys at the moment, find a friend that's not in a relationship either and hang out with them for the evening. Or make it an "All About Me Day". Go and splurge on yourself!

Find someone to be with if you want. There has to be someone at work or school, even the supermarket, who would enjoy spending time with. Of course, it's okay to alone- Valentine's day is a day like any other and you shouldn't feel any artificial pressure to be with someone.

So are a lot of us. Sometimes we have somebody in our life and sometimes we don't. And there are many people in relationships who feel so very alone in life even though there is somebody there. Find some friends or coworkers who are also unattached to spend the evening with. Spend some time with someone in your family. Or go volunteer your time that day to a cause you truly believe in. But do try to find someone to spend it with. And if you wind up spending it alone, allow yourself to feel sad. but don't wallow in self pity. Know that somebody will eventually come along whom you can love and who will love you.

In my view, if vu r realli alone, u may juz find some people who r singles too and go out for a gathering.. although u may envy other couple that u see on the street but that the best way to spend it in my view...

well that is sad try and get together with some other friends that are alone also and if not possible spend it with family and remember we give all these holidays to much importants any way most likely next year will be different so don't feel to bad you could be spending it with some awful guy that you are wondering why he is in your life anyway.

it's just valentine's day.

Love yourself.

Besides, you have people that care about you everyday. Spend time with them because you don't know when it will be their last day or your last day.

I lost my mom on Valentine's day in '06. She was 42.
