Free Beer!!!

j/k but it works on most older men if the task doesnt require concentration. Yet seriously a little reward goes a long way. Make sure you give it to him after they have completed the task.
if this question is from a girlfriend or wife, then you know what your man wants..I hope.
if it is asked by a mom, you probably know what your son likes such as tv, video games, allowance, deserts, music, etc.

You can also make it like a game or related to something he enjoys. Some tasks are just boring, but if he likes something like exercise...then time him to see how fast he can cut the yard. Take seconds off if you find patches or mistakes.

By thinking that you will get something (fruit for performing the task, ---Incentive) Actually this is the path of effort to achive God. In simple terms do all the work disinterestedly then it Will be done as the lord wanted it to be. The real problem of the outcome of a task is that our interest is attached to it so the result is as we want , which may not be what is required always.

Try to understand what it is that drives another to perform the task at hand. Even to have a moderate comprehension of something deems it a little more interesting than it appeared before.

If you make the assumption that the task is to help you achieve a goal that you have set for yourself, then you have to focus on that goal instead of the task. All of us have had to do the mundane tasks to achieve anything in life. In school, we had to go to the classes that we were not interested in, in love, we had to give up our personal satisfaction at times for our partner's, and at work, we often have to take care of our to-do list to achieve our mission.

So focus on the big items, and complete the task so you can be one step closer to your goal.

What are you looking for when you perform the task? According to the ancient tale of Layli and Majnun, it is to see the end in the beginning. Majnun siftend the dust in his search for the beloved Layli, although aware that she was pure spirit: "I seek her everywhere; haply somewhere I shall find her."

Have a look at the technique demonstrated by one Mr Tom Sawyer, in a book by the same name written by Mark Twain. It involves the whitewashing of a certain fence in Hannibal, Missouri. Ask at the library: they'll know about it.
