Well, it really depends on what you want to spend but most everyone does chocolate and/or flowers and those are standard. you should do something different and not get the chocolate/flowers. Or if you do get a flower, get just one and get something other than a rose. You could take her out to dinner or you could buy her something sentimental...like a piece of jewelry engraved or what ever she might collect, get her something from you that you know she'll like.

Jewlery is a good stand by. Take her to pick it out though, that way you can get her something she likes.

And you know, just spend time with her, make her feel special. Make it a memorable V-day, that's the best gift, good memories.

it depends how well you know her. but do something unique. make her a card (don't BUY one). take her to a cool restaurant that's something she'll enjoy but find as a new experience. maybe she's never tried thai food or sushi...

i say stay away from "stuffed animals"... its just my personal opinion, but i think they are a big turnoff. just cheezy i guess.

unless you have good taste and you know her really well, don't try to pick out jewelry for her. if you have a friend or a sister who knows her taste, take them along to pick out something. or on valentine's day pick her up and take her somewhere where you'll treat her to a new pair of earrings that she picks out.

make dinner!

get her something you can do together, like concert tickets...

It depends on the girl. Most girls like flowers and candy. I don't care for the gifts, I prefer a romantic dinner.

Hmm... Tricky. Maybe something she can use? Bag and shoes, the best way to win a girl's heart, hehe... But we can't resist receiving flowers (and chocolates, for non diet-conscious ones), good ol' romantics, haha. Good luck.

I'd personally be happy just getting a present. Just make sure you know what she "doesn't" want. After that, the possibilities are limitless.
