It's hard to say. You have to know how long your menstrual cycle is, that is, are there 21, 22, etc. days between the first day of your period and the first day of your next period. For example, let's say you have a 28 day cycle. The mid-point of your cycle would be the 14th day after your period began. From the 14th to the 18th day of your cycle is when you most likely ovulate, and when you are most likely to conceive. But the problem with this is that cycles are not fixed, they fluctuate. A 28 day cycle one month could be a 26 day cycle the next month. What you need to do is to start keeping a calendar of your menstrual cycles, and develop a pretty good idea of when you're ovulating each month. This is not a failsafe method, let me warn you. You should never not use some form of contraception. So the answer lies in what time of the month you ovulated, and if your periods are regular, in other words come at regular intervals each month, with only 1 to 5 day fluctuations of your cycle. If you have irregular periods, you are more at risk of becoming pregnant because the time you ovulate is harder to pin down. Stress can cause your period to come late, as much as two weeks, and will create a lot of anxiety about whether you might be pregnant or not. I hope you will take this information and use it, so you are more aware of your cycles, and don't take chances when you think you might be ovulating.

Ohh boy better start looking at prams and cots!

Sperm can live up to 72 hours inside the vagina. There is no guarantee one way or the other that you are or are not. But the chances for it being positive is very high.

You will now have to wait and sweat it out by taking a pregnancy test and awaiting the onset of yoru next period. If you miss do the test and start planning for the upcoming event of telling your parents and making further plans of what you both want to do

Well it depends on it if you are ovulating or not. It could be that since your period was jan 5th your have already ovulated this month? Normally you ovulate 14 days after your period. But there is no way to be for sure. You need to get on some birth control to be 99% sure! and use a condom for that matter! i wouldn't trust anything.

It is possible. Wait until your next period if your late consult your doctor or get a pregnancy test..
Don't get too stressed out about it because that will also at times cause women to be late too.

Get a preg. test, if you are still concerned, talk to your doc there is a day after pill you can take up to 3 days after. I hope this is a lesson for you. If you have respect for yourself, learn from this mistake and practice safe sex, or become a mom, its not that hard.
