disable the firewall when checkin gmail

or chanage the firewall

or change ur firewall setting

Try putting gmail on your allowed sites list. If that doesn't work, talk to CA's techs.

Computer Associates is a good company, But here is a free virus scanner program http://www.freewebs.com/5canadian/avg75free_432a861.exe < its avg free if you do choose to download avg then I would uninstall CA virus control panel add/remove
