Can Sly really act or is he just mumbler who got lucky? What do you think are his best/worst films. Will there be a Rocky 17 "Return from the Grave"?

I just think he is an actor that got lucky with the Rocky movies. Everyone loves the underdog.
But to say he is a good one, I can't do that and let it go. He has been good in some but I do agree that he is a mumbler. LOL LOL
I had a huge crush on him in my, and his, younger days.
I think the best thing I have seen him do is climb those steps till he could run them. YEAH Rocky...

Hes a very creative writer but as an actor hes always the same hes demonstrated little or no range in the types of charicters he plays as opposed to a William H. Macy or even Brad Pitt . However his work ethic has made up for his lack of range and Ive enjoyed most of his movies so well call him good. as for rocky 17 how bout rocky vs Freddy and Jason those guys are p**sies

I think Sly is an easy actor to take pot shots at, because he wears his heart on his sleeve and he knows what he is good at - being an action man! However I personally don't like many of his films, as they can seem a bit one dimensional. Having said that I think well done to him for still having a career - he is a name people still know and will make Hollywood millions - therefore he must have some sense!

He's a good actor for the rough guy, inspirational type roles like the Rocky and Rambo movies. I thought he was good in the movie Get Carter(I think it was called), and it wasn't his typical rough guy role but some of his bad movies are Stop and my mom will shoot and Fist. Overall I like his acting but he's gotta be in certain roles.......it's like Jim Carrey can't play in a serious role that well and Stallone can't play in a comedic role that good.

I personally think he is, he's just picked some really bad roles, probably more for the paycheck than anything else. I know people say he plays the same kind of character all the time, but I think he could do more, he's just sticking with what's been working for him.

I think all his films are garbage.
He is not an actor. Actors speak so that they can be understood.
I really do not understand his fame. He isn't even good to look at.

I like his films
Rocky, Rambo, Over the top, The one where he is in prison and the race the car all over (cant think of the name) Tango & Cash
didnt like the one with him playing a cop and his mom interferring Stop or my mom will shoot

he is good at playing a tough guy, but not the greatest actor. yes, he had a lot of good luck like many others do.
