Opening a Foreing Bank Account.?

Can I open an account Online and have them send me the info from another country? such as Paris France? is this possible or would I have to go there to open one, I want to open one because I will be going there soon, and would like to have some money already waiting

If you need to open a bank account in France then go to Saint-Pierre and Miquelon.

It's an island very close to the State of Maine.

Why not just use an ATM? Or get cash in that currency before you go? I think you have to be a resident, except perhaps for Switzerland and the Cayman Islands.
