I still wish I had my "Thumbalina doll" When I was 8 years old, I went into a thrift store with my mother, I saw this lonely little thumbalina doll & had to have it, my mom let me buy her, I believe it cost like 50 cents, she then let me buy some baby clothes there. I took that doll home, & I loved that doll so much, I took her every where I went, I even had a little suit case that I put all her clothes in. I had that doll until the age of 16, then some how it got lost when we moved. I always think about the time my mom let me buy her & always wished I had her back.

I had almost the full set of the "Comic Action Heroes" from National Periodical Publications, circa 1975 - the ones with the knees and elbows slightly bent, as opposed to the straight stanced "Pocket Heroes". Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, Joker, Penguin, Aquaman, Hulk, Spider-man, Green Goblin. They were not high-quality and the sculpts were very bad - for instance, Batman was about 10% smaller overall than the figure of Robin, but they were notable for two reasons: they were some of the first figures to be produced that actually were aimed at "collectors" - they each came with a stand that their feet fit into so they could be displayed, and they were some of the first figures made in one collection that combined heroes and villians from both Marvel and Dc as part of a single scale figure line. I still have Batman, Robin, and Spiderman, but what I wouldn't give to have them all back in mint condition!

I had a soft rubber African American doll with black painted hair and orange eyes. Then I had a night mare about it and would tear the limbs off it and my parents always put it back together and I would repeat the process. The night mare always scared the heck out of me and I couldn't bare to remember what had happened to the doll. Now as an adult I wish I had her....I got her when I was about nine months old...as a doll collector I always looked for her but never found her. Now I am old and still looking.

Still had, in the sense of "haven't hunted it down and restored a copy to my possession"?
That eliminates quite a few, like the original Waddingtons "Thunderbirds" game (rare for the time, it was a good ONE player game, and required cooperation, not competition, for 2-4 players)
Or "Railroader": not such a good game, but all those track and train pieces were irresistable! These, I now have.
Most missed and still missing would be the James Bond Underwater Battle by Triang. Yes, it is now very rare and valuable because all those frogmen were delicate and lost their spears easily. But my set was played to death.

I think I miss my Stretch Armstrong doll. My brothers tortured the poor thing until it's arms couldnt stretch no more! It was a graphic, ghastly sight! :-) Either that or my "Tiffany" doll, which could change from blonde to brunette by twisting her scalp around...geez, didnt realize how violent my toys were!

My demonic Barny doll. It was supposed to say things when you squeezed it, but mine would randomly go off when nothing was touching it. I loved that thing.
