I had unprotected sex with this guy I have been talking to December 23rd and again January 16th. I am supposed to start my period at the beginning of January and I never did. Instead it was just really light bleeding off and on for a couple days and some occasional brown discharge which has stopped now. I took a pregnancy test January 11th and it came back negative then I took another one January 23rd and it was still negative. I have really sore breasts, I am usually always dizzy and just really spacy, I get frequent migranes and I eat WAY more and some stuff I used to like, I hate now. I have not been stressed out at all lately and this has never happened before but now that I had unprotected sex with him (and yes he cummed inside me) it's been like this.. I do not have an STD.. So my question is could it have been too early to tell still?! If so, please let me know when would be a good time to take it again or what I should do!? Has anyone ever experienced this?

sounds like you are stressing way to much and that could be throwing off your period. The best thing to do is make an appointment and have a blood test done. You will be able to find out by now with a blood test if you are.

Well, first of all it sounds like you're doing a whole lot more than talking with him. Second, you may be pregnant, but if for some reason you got pregnant on the 16th, it'd be too early to tell. That light bleeding could have been implantation, but if that were the case, it'd almost certanly show up on a pregnancy test by now. Which brings me to my third point: some women get so worried about being pregnant that they start to feel symptoms, even though there is no pregnancy at all. I'd recommend waiting until about 19 days after the last round of unprotected sex before taking another test. (5 days that the sperm can live inside you, then anouth 14 for the embryo to implant inside you and start producing hcg, the hormone that shows up on hpt's.) ALL of that being said, if you do not want to be pregnant, by all means, do not let this boy that you are merely "talking to" ejaculate inside you. I really hope you get lucky this time, but that is how babies are made. If you don't want a baby, stop gambling like that.

You need to take the test again. I would set a test at your local Planned Parenthood. That way you can have a exam and a blood test.
On a good time to take it?...... Friday the 2nd or wait till the following friday. That way if you are pregnant it gives you time over the weekend to think things out a bit and go from there.
On could it be to early to tell?...yes it could have.

Yes, I was pregnant with my 3rd son and had the brown discharge do to implantation bleeding and felt dizzy all the time.
With that said that does NOT mean you are pregnant..just that I was with your symtoms.
Go get your test done so you can relax. You maybe worring for nothing and effecting your everyday life.

The question she asked was not a moral question, but someone needing medical advice. A lot of times when our period is due, and we are pregnant, we can have light or sparse bleeding which is caused by the egg implanting into the uterine wall. Also sometimes store bought tests are incorrectly negative if you do not have enough hcg hormone (the pregnancy hormone) to show up. My advice is to wait unto th next due date of your next period, the begining of February, and if its a no show, go and get a blood test at your doctor or local clinic. Thats the only way you will know for show. As for all people judging, this is sometimes a lesson in itself to use protection - sometimes we need a scare before we will use caution unfortunately. You could be pregnant. I know the directions on the pregnancy test say that you should wait until your first missed period or 19 days after the last time you had sex. I would wait another week and try another pregnancy test. If that comes back negative I would make an appointment with your doctor to make sure nothing else is going on.

Yeah, I'm going through somewhat of the same situation. I would a month after you have had sex to take a test. Thats what I'm doing. Good luck and whatever decision you make will be a good one!

Honestly, I would wait until tuesday to take another test and make sure to use first morning urine. If it's negative, it sure sounds like you should see your doctor to find out what else might be going on.

OMG. Why is it that almost anyone can become pregnant and bring an innocent life into this world? You need to go to the Dr. and then if your not pregnant, don't ever have unprotected sex again.

go to the dr and have them check.......this way you know for sure.....do you have a plan in case you are pregnant

(before I new I was pregnant, I remember being REALLY THIRSTY.....I craved Popsicles...never had any discharge) my pregnancy test worked when I was about 3 weeks)
