any kind of modern rock..mostly bands with an edge or a knack of storytelling in their music. Some of my favorites are Metallica,Disturbed, Nickleback,Patsy Cline, Enya, Linkin Park ......a lot of different genres. I like all kinds of music.
I have been listening to Metallica since the mid 80's and it never gets old to me..same with Bob Marley and The Eagles, Santana..Black Sabbath.
So to make a short answer LONG..I don't imagine it will be much different than now...just with new artists on my list!!

Probably the same music I listened to in my teens.
People have a tendency not to like change. When a new genre comes out we see it as 'sacrilege'. So as an old man I would likely listen to what I did as a teen.
Jazz and Country.

in the off chance that ill actually be around and can afford to not work im gonna listen to nothing but the classics....Billy Holliday, B.B. King, and all the blues and jazz and opra music that I can and sit on my front porch swing and watch the days unfold with my Welsh Corgi and sip cognac and daydream for the rest of my days.

I hope I can still hear when I'm 80. I'll be listening to jungle, drum & bass, trance, trip hop : ) ..Kidding. I'm sure Incubus will still be my favorite band, so I'd have to say Rock.
