I have known a girl for about a year now & we are good friends. But our friendship has been growing steadily & now I have started developing love towards her. I wanna ask her out & let her know I love her. Do you think this is good because I am finally getting a girlfriend whom I know very well? Or do you think it is bad because I am crossing the fine line of friendship?

Relationships are always better when you start out as friends. Go for it!

I think, if the chemistry was there for her, too, the friendship would have become more than a friendship by now on its own. Rather than asking her out on a date, maybe try testing the chemistry while you are together. Smile at her and see if she smiles back. Or just ask her if she likes you in that way. If she doesn't, don't feel bad. Sometimes the chemistry just isn't there that way, but your friendship might become a very lasting and important one. It's wonderful that you are friends first.

I hope she likes you.

Show a litlle more confidence. Asking her friends makes you appear weak. Not the end of the world but try this instead why not just talk to this girl? It might come up in conversation. Also facebook stalking hello? Unless you have a close friend in the know I wouldnt ask. I might even own it in one conversation be like where's your boyfriend at? Dont ask point blank if she has a boyfriend thats an awkward thing to ask. Maybe try to hint her into telling you if you cant tell from random conversation. Either way boyfriend or no boyfriend you shouldnt need to know the answer to that to talk to her.

If you love her, you should let her know. Knowing her on the friendship level first would create a more solid foundation for a relationship. You do have the risk of causing some friction in your friendship if she doesn't feel the same way, but, if your feelings are that strong, you owe it to yourself to see where it could go.
