Because he's an idiot dear. He needs to quit his crap now.
to imct01: agreed. The SOB was never in support of small business. That was a lie. He has the congress he wanted. has it dawned on any of you that the democrats whole strategy was based on Iraq? So what happened? Its time to think outside of these two parties if you already haven't figured that out for yourselves. We now have a country to save. Ours. Apathy and despotism have got us to this point. Just wake up.

George W. Bush:
1. Is too old to be on the front lines of combat
2. Has demonstrated from his own Military records, cowardice that would only put the lives of others in jeopardy
If he really believes in the war then his daughters should be toting M16s in Baghdad.
Since his children aren't over there then neither should anybody elses. The President should put up or shutup.
What does the United States stand to gain with a Shiite Government in power in Iraq? Nothing! They are aligned with Iran.
Forget the "Police the world" sililoquey this conflict is not even in the interest of the Country. We've got huge Budget deficits that are making us endebted to the nations around the world. When George W. Bush took office the United States had an over $2 Trillion budget surplus. This war and his policies are bankrupting the nation. Common Sense would dictate that spending more US resources and lives on this War is insane.

Bush & his people are stealing the money Congress alloted for our troops, increasing the numbers of troops, increases the size of the bill Haliburton and the rest charge in their war profiteering frenzy. The Republicans responsible realize it's going to dry up with a Democratic Congress, so W. is just maximizing an opportunity, like any good Republican businessman. The only trouble with that mentality is people are dying so these pigs can steal tax dollars. If your still a Republican after reading this far, you should spend some of your money on a Catholic Priest and get an exorscism. You can repent and God will forgive you if you vote a straight Democratic ticket the rest of your pitiful excuse for a life.

Dude, just because you are a republican doesn't mean you have to blindly follow other republicans. A lot of people forget that all parties are supposed to be is a group of people with similar views about the world. That doesn't mean they will agree on everything. As for policing the world, unless we do something totally stupid like reinstate the draft we don't have near enough people to even police Iraq and Afghanistan properly. And I'm pretty sure we don't have the right either.

First, there is not enough space here to answer all this. Second, we should have sent more much ealier. Third, it is not just "police" (no one else would UN certainly won't) but you have to take a look at the dynamics (don't start with oil when we are still paying at least $2 for gas) of the region before discussing "policing" the world. This is especially with regards to how many different factions are within the Muslim world. Besides, the Arabs are not exactly all friendly toward each other. Then, we will talk about Home.

Thanks bubba you got a gold star on your paper eh?
Yep but unfortunately he can't he is too old? ha ha And he would probably get someone killed as usual? But I vote for someone of his family or friends going who are of age? Yep that is a good one. Let us make sure that anymore troops go then everyone has to be sponsored by an enlistee by their own family members like the colonial wars where we had no choice. Maybe then they will realize what the hell happens when you start a war you better play it where you win? I was not against taking Saddam out at all nor all the rest of the terrorists, But please with his connections to the CIA and his Dad for God's sake was the CIA we could have terminated Saddam along time ago and bin laden before he did all this crap? But no they had their allegiance with their business partners the oil moguls? Well such is life we sure wasted lives and money didn't we? Now what? Good Luck and happier days hopefully.

I personally hate Bush. (Democrat) He has been abusing his office and started an unnecessary war. I too think he should think more about taking care of the U.S then the world. It's like us and Cuba. Cuba decides to get a dictator so we cut off trade with them and now their blaming us for their problems. Why does everyone rely on the U.S. No matter how much we try 1/3 of the world will always hate us. And as for Bush being on the front lines we'd have the Dick as a president. Creepy!

Remember The American Embassy that was bombed? the USS Cole? The first bombing of the World Trade Center? 911? Anthrax? The US isn't "policing" the world, but trying to make it a safer place to live so it won't become the "mother of all problems" right here at home!

So will that mean we will be sending all senior citizens to war.....that is ludicrous, to think that by getting out now.....will make everyone in America safe. The day we walk out of this war early.....America will never be safe....sad but true....and we have the right party in power to run a massive retreat.....boy, I know I will sleep well this year!

In that case you should advocate pulling all US troops out of the rest of the world. America should try to fix its own mess instead of complaining.
