I overheard someone say that "Sony owns all the gaming companies, even Halo 3 is going to come out on the Ps3". Is this true?

I hope so as I own a Ps3 and I loved playing Halo.

Absolutely not. This is the problem with the current generation of systems.

Mario and Zelda are Nintendo only.
Halo is Xbox only.
Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy are Sony only.

With a weak lineup of exclusives, there isn't much of a reason to get every console anymore.

No. Sony is a big Rival of the Xbox, which is produced 100% by microsoft. I have no doubt Microsoft is more important than sony. whoever said that was wrong.
