Yes, I do and I love it. He is my husband favorite.
I have a poem you might like. I think it is soothing to read when you have lost a loved one.
Don’t cry at my grave , cause I won’t be there.
I’ll be in the breeze ,that ruffles your hair.
I’ll be in the sunshine. I’ll be in the snow.
I’ll be in the places, that we use to go.
Ill be in your laughter and in funny things.
I’ll be in your shadow and there in your dreams.
I’ll be in your greetings but not your goodbyes.
I’ll be in the reflection, of your loving eyes.
I’ll always be with you and I’ll always care.
Don’t cry at my grave side cause I won’t be there.
Hope you appreciate it like I do.

I know the song well, and I absolutely love it. The voice of George Jones is like the voice of a long lost, sympathetic loved one that understands our pain all too well.
Even though you may have a tear in your eye, I hope that you have a smile on your face, because your mother is in a better place. Remember, we shall mourn at birth and celebrate at death.
Right after my wife left me/broke my heart/destroyed me, George Jones (and straight Kentucky bourbon) got me through many miserable nights. I came to understand, all too well, the heartbreak that this song was born out of. I truely believe that a heartbroken man won't give up his love until..."they place a wreath upon his door and...carry him away."
I hope you are doing well!

I remember the song you're talking about. It's about this man who's life fell apart after he lost the love of his life. finally he died. His friends say he finally quit loving her when they buried him. Very sad song but some nice lyrics. A real tear-jerker. I listened to it a lot when my husband left me...I'd sing "she" stopped loving "him". Thank God after several years that pain has subsided. I would like to send my sympathies on the loss of your mother. That's the worst thing I ever went through. I'll say a prayer for you tonight.

Yes, I remember it. I've heard it a couple times lately. Once recently at a memorial service for an old friend that died.
