only one screw is then needed to attach to door then one screw needed to attach at frame could not find them at lowes or home depot

you refering perhaps to a blum-type hinge? a plate attaches to the cabinet and the hinge to the door. a clip or a screw keeps the hinge attatched to the cabinet so the door can be easily removed.

recessed-- covers quite a few hinge designs though.

Few use only 1 screw.... but if you already have it, and looking to match, then you need to use the yellow pages and find a cabinet supply... or
do a search for such on I-net.

A warning -- thousands of designs out there.

Call or go to "Wood Crafter" a wood shop for everything that Home Depot doesn't have. There should be one in your city.
