diameter = 42
radius = 21
circumference = 2 pi r
= 2 x 3.14 x 21
= 132.8 (approx)
Given he took 5 rounds
= 132.8 x 5
= 659.4 m

The circumference of a circle, or the distance around the lagoon, is equal to PI * (RADIUS)^2 where RADIUS is 1/2 Diameter. So the answer is PI * (21^2) * 5 times around the lagoon you get 6927.211801 meters rounded to however many significant digits you need.

Circumference of a circle is 2 x pi x radius
the radius is half the diameter 42/2= 21 metres.

So circumference is 42pi.
If he runs around it 5 times, 5 x 42pi = 210 pi

42 m diameter => radius is 21 meter

circumference fo the lagoon = 2 x 3.14159265 x 21 = 132
5 times => 660

The circumferance of a circle is 2 pi times the radius or pi times the diameter and pi is approx. 3.1416. Mutiply 3.1416 x 42 meters x 5 and you have it. Almost 660 meters

diameter is 42m...n hence the radius is 42/2=21m...the distance covered by the jogger in 1 round is the circumference of the lagoon...circumfernce=2*pi*radius ....therefore,distance covered by the jogger in 1 round will be 2*3.14*21=131.88m....hence ,distance covered in 5 rounds will be 131.88*5=659.4m.....
