can you tell me wether its worth it or not?

I have played and have beaten the game. It is totally worth it. The story line is amazing can't be beat. The gameplay is quite good aswell it takes time to get used to the way you battle i thought the game was horrible but then oncei got used to it the game got really good. There is a ton of sidequests so you don't get bored. It will take you atleast 150h to totally finish almost everything in the game.

Personally, I have to say no. I've been a fan of Final Fantasy for quite some time, and beaten 4,7,8,9,X,X-2, and Tactics. I have loved each and every one of them...except 12. The graphics are amazing, I give it that. But, fighting hundreds and thousands of the same enemy over and over gets really old, really fast. I think maybe the game would have been better if it had kept that classic FF battle style, at least a little bit. The music is okay, but probably nothing you'd find yourself humming in your head later. The characters don't stand out like others, such as Cloud or Squall. Granted, the game has its fans, and I've nothing against them, but if you're looking for that classic Final Fantasy feel, I'm afraid you won't find it in FF12.
