I was just wondering, who has seen the "Runaway love" music video by Mary J. Blige and Ludacris, or at least heard the song? It's sort of controversal - if you've seen it, what are your thoughts?

I think it's a great song. I really don't see why it should be controversial. Realistically, these things happen all the time, and it's best to be able to admit it so we can possibly do something about it. It's nice to see that someone is actually singing about something that has meaning. I like that.

I think that its definitely a welcomed change for Ludacris and the topics he USUALLY addresses in his songs. By the way, to the first answerer of this question: he's not advocating running away ... its simply a song about traumatic circumstances and seeking an escape from them.

Yes, I have seen it. I heard the song first. It may be sad, but it is real. He is not advocating running away. Reality is not always pleasant, and this brings to light unpleasant reality. Maybe it will open some eyes and some young people can be helped finding an alternative.
