i have a digital camera printer that i no long need, its brand new, compac printer, and i want to get rid of it, shoudl it ake it to a pawn shop, or somehow sell it online

My first reaction is to say eBay, but really, you might make out better in a pawn shop, especially if you are not already an eBay seller. There are just so freaking many used printers for sale on eBay that it is hard to get much money for them and then it's barely worth the effort to safely pack and ship a printer, especially if you don't have the original box and packing hanging around.

I know you said your printer is brand new, but unless you are a retailer, most buyers will consider it used anyhow, since it will not be coming with a warranty.

Go to eBay and search your exact model number and see if they are selling and for how much.
