15% of your red blood cells would turn to stem cells every day. (This means in 3 days you would be dead if you did not replenish your blood.) Half these stem cells would be stored in your body for later use but the rest would be added to your body and make it evolve. This means that as long as you can keep your blood supply up you will be able to live forever and evolve forever.
Basically you would become a vampire but you would be able to walk in daylight and wont turn into a bat or die from garlic or water.

I totally would. it would come down to YOU living and someone else dying, so obvoiusly I would choose to live. and i'd evolve, so it would make sense that eventually your body would rid itself of even NEEDING blood, and would eventually be able to absorb energy from any source your body touches, so you could just simply TAKE the life out of someone by touching them.

Hmm, sounds like I could be immortal if I chose to and could end my life when I chose, too. However, being that I'm a vegetarian, I might have trouble finding good sources of equivalent blood supply. Could it be done with tofu?
But to the question of living forever... constantly evolving... I would do it for a long time, probably over one hundred years or more. Eventually, I might take the plunge to visit the mystery of death. As an athiest, I don't believe in souls or afterlife. Rather I believe that the energy that makes me Me just merges with all the energy that is life in the universe.
This makes me wonder about population growth, and if all people did this, how overpopulated our planet would become. I wonder if I would end my life to make room for new life.
