Let's see. You got a bonus! You then broke the law and drove with a suspended driver's license, and got your car impounded!! You have the money to get your gar out because you got the bonus, but now can not spend the money on your daughters birthday. You think that this is the worst thing in the world.
Have you ever had to go through the death of a friend? How about the death of a loved one like a parent? How about going to visit a relative and finding them dead in their home. (Death was 5 days before) How about having to tell the parents of a friend that their son was killed in an accident?
How about falling off a building and losing a leg (as happened to a friend of mine) My friend uses a prosthesis, and you can not tell unless he is wearing shorts
You do not have major problems. You do not even know what major problems are! !
If it seems that I have had bad things happen, it is just a part of life. I consider myself lucky to live in a country where I can work hard and my success (or failure) is directly related to my effort! I have a good life. It is not perfect, bad things happen. The secret to being happy is to look at the good, and to quit doing the stupid things that cause you problems!!

Sounds like someone wants to feel better about themselves hmmm?
If that's the worst thing then you have nothing to worry about. How bout going through war your whole life in your actual country? Try being a refugee and never seeing your family for over 20 some years? Trying being a minority in a culture that has a history of racism?
How do you feel now? Good luck...

Too personal but if that's the worse that's ever happened to be thankful. You sound like a complainer you're still up 100.00 bucks. There are people with real problems out there like wondering if your loved one will make it back from Iraq for example. Or the many people who have been the victim of violent crimes, terminal illness, loss of a loved one abruptly, etc, etc... So if you're looking for a pep talk not gonna happen from me. Quick whining and realize you're lifes not that bad!

My little sister (age 29) became suddenly very ill. I had to go out of state to see her in the hospital. She died a couple of days later. She died from the Chicken Pox that she got from her little 3 year old son. In the meantime, I had a 2 year old that I left behind as he was ill and too sick to travel. Well, when I was at the funeral parlor for my sisters funeral services, a nurse from the hospital (where my little boy was) called me to tell me that my little boy just passed away. I had to bury my sister, get on a plane and make funeral arrangements for my little boy.
Yea... I would say that's one of the worse things that has ever happened to me.

I was locked in a utility building when I was 4 years old by an old man who sweet talked me into going in there. I remember the cops coming and my Dad was being restrained by them.

I found my sister passed out in a pool of her own blood. She'd been cutting herself for years and nobody knew.
If that's the worst thing that ever happens to you, count yourself very lucky honey.

Yes, my baby died when she was a week old.
You can get loads of fun things for YOUR daughter for $100, I'd be happy to have only $10 to spend on my baby girl. Count your blessings.
