I pause if I'm speaking with someone so I can process what happen also to edit my speech so I don't say anything in the heat of passion. If the person persists I warn whomever that I'm angry and that maybe nows not the best time to press the issue. If that still isn't working I remove myself from the situation and sit a spell until I feel calm again. I used to be a real hot head and this seems to help also after some time I realized its not worth letting other people make me So angry! I hope this helps- its not healthy to get so mad all the time.

I usually think hard about what the cost afterward for my anger. Would it be the same for me tomrrow,Would anything change? ..But it depends on the situation and with who? If with my husband, I have to make sure what I am gonna say is not too mean and sound like excusing him of something instead ask him calm and make sure let him know the situation is hurting me a lot? Sometimes,I used a little tears, it will help a lot, because my husband feels guilty when he thinks he made me cry. I learn not to have my anger take over my head. Because it can do lots of damage emotionally and physically in a relationship.

I only get angry when someone puts me in that place and to alleviate the anger, I square things off with the person that p----- me off. I don't think someone else needs to put up with me in that condition.

Remove myself from the situation, and then do something physical like go for a walk, work out etc or do something to relax like a book,a bubble bath, something that I enjoy..seems to work for me. :)

i stop, take a breath, then go to my rational hard drive by trying to look at the other side of 'whatever'. it makes sense in my brain, if not on paper.( or LED) and it works for me.
