My girl started her period and she thought that she might be pregnant. So my question is can you be pregnant and still have your period and if so then will a home pregnancy test show up positive if she was to take one, while being on her period? I mean will her being on her period affect the results if she is, and will it say negitive even though she is, because of the period? So Confused!!!

First, get a real test. Second, wrap that willy, and don't take chances. Third, she may be trying to get you to marry her. Getting pregnant "by mistake" is a common tactic. If you even think this is what's happening, dump her!

So if she's bought a 28 day cycle and also you had intercourse on day 27 the possibilities of her being pregnant are slim. If you don't want to be a mum or dad, use a condom.

alot of girls get their period while they are pregnant my cousin didnt even know she was pregnant for 5 months becuase she was still getting her period. im not sure of the pregnancy test thing though you should tell her to go to the doctor....and if she doesnt want to go to the doctor because she is embarrassed or something atleast go to a planned parenthood where everything will be private

It's extremely common for a women to have periods or at least one period while she's pregnant. They are almost always much lighter, though.
Yes, she can still take a home test, vaginal bleeding wouldn't have any effect on a urine test.... at least not in this capacity.

she could still be pregnant maybe by her next period she can miss it. wait 14 to 16 days to do a home pregnancy test i recommend you buy the ones at dollar stores they sale them for a buck each so that way you can buy more than you can with the expensive ones.

if she has her period I really doubt it that shes pregnant. but if she wants to do a hpt have her wait until her period is over and have her do it right when she gets up. that is the best time to take the test. more accurate.

yes. she can still have her period and be pregnant, but if it appears to be normal, chances are that she isn't. are you two have unprotected sex? if so, may your mothers slap you upside the head!!!!!!!!! if you don't know the answers to these simple questions, why are you having sex at all? are you prepared for raising a child if she IS pregnant?
