Take a brown paper bag - either a lunch bag or a piece of a grocery bag that's big enough to cover the wax. Place the paper bag over the melted wax and use a hot iron to rub over the paper bag. The wax will come off automatically. This method is A LOT easier than the ice cube way.

Place a cloth over the wax and use steam iron to melt the wax and absorb onto the cloth. A old pillow case or similar works best. Work from outer edges of wax inward, using clean area of cloth as you absorb the warmed wax.

Get some outdated newspaper and a garments iron. warmth up the iron, it does not could desire to be on the utmost placing. positioned 3 or 4 products of newspaper over the wax and run the iron over the newspaper. the warmth will soften the wax and the newspaper will soak up the wax. Repeat the approach as many situations as mandatory. it may take a on a similar time as based on the quantity of wax that dripped on the carpet. individually, I used this technique for a small volume of wax (4-5 sq. inches with the help of an 8 of an inch thick) and it took quarter-hour and a super form of newspaper (30 pages) to get the interest executed.

Place a piece of paper towel over the wax, and heat it with an iron, on low. This will re-melt the wax.
When it is melted, blot with the paper towel. When all the wax is blotted up, clean area with a good carpet cleaning spray.
Good luck.

I use newspaper and get it about four or five ply. Put it on top of the wax and iron over it. When the wax melts, it will stick to the newspaper instead of your carpet.

Freeze the wax with ice and simply break it up off the floor. There are also wax removers sold in home improvement stores. One good brand is "GOO GONE".

pick off as much as you can, you might use ice on it so its quite firm, when you have removed as much as you can with your fingernails and vac, then put down white paper towels and iron it with your clothing iron. keep changing towels till you cant see any wax stain any longer on the paper. good luck, if the candles were a dark color you might end up with a colored mark even if the wax seems all out.
