This is the very first day this has happened in my life. And it seems like it's slowing down.. i'm not sure though.

I'm a virgin, so i don't think i got it from being sexually active...

It sounds like the beginning of a bladder infection.

If it starts to hurt when you pee, that's what it is.

If that happens, see your doctor. In the meantime start drinking 8 ounces of cranberry juice 4 times a day or go to the drugstore and pick up a box of AZO. They're little pills made from cranberry extract to combat the bladder infection. Bladder infections are as common as the common cold.

Also some medications can have a side effect that makes you pee often with little results. Are you on any medication?
You might want to ask your doctor about it, if you are.

Good luck and don't worry.

Sounds like a UTI (urinary infection). You can take pyridium (OTC) for the pain and you'll need something prescribed (probably double strength bactrim) for the infection. If you don't now, it could go to your kidneys. Go to the doctor or your women's health person.

Warning--if you take the pyridium (which is an anesthetic for your urinary tract and takes away that urgent feeling), beware that you'll have bright orange pee, that's a side effect. What the others are saying about cranberry juice (or cranberry pills) is also a good idea.

No this is not normal and it has absolutly nothing to do with your period, please go to a doctor now. I am 99.9% sure you have a bladder infection I used to get them all the time. Some other ways to know if you do have one is your urine might have a foul smell, umm it could burn when you pee (common misconseption is that it always burns when you pee) I would go to the doc asap I had one once I did not take care of and it spread to my kidney and I passed out at work all becuase of a bladder infection.

Common causes of bladder infections are:
Sudden change is sex patterns or partners/ or realated movements such as horse back riding.
not wiping from front to back
not going to the bathroom before and after sex

It sounds like you have a urinary tract infection. The doc can give you a prescription for bactrim or something similar to treat it. Drinking cranberry juice and lots of water is helpful, but won't cure it.

Yeah I get like that too. I think it might be because when you have discharge come out it gives you the urge to go pee. it's okay you'll be fine if you are really worried about it go to a gynecologist. But it's normal.

No you most likely have a urinary tract infection. Go to urgent care or ER and they can test your urine and give you an antibiotic to help clear it up.

No it's not normal and probably doesn't have anything to do with your period. Sounds like you have a bladder infection. Get to the doctor.
