I am just a student...currently just trying to use makeups to enhance my face. I can't afford too expensive makeups, but those really cheap ones jst simply don't suit my face. As I rarely use makeups, my skin gets irritated easily when I apply the foundation I am currently using, ( Maybelline 2-way-foundation). I get very frustrated, so I am now considering to buy a slightly more expensive foundation, which is Clinique's. But, as money is an issue here, I just want to find out whether it is a REALLY good product? ( I don't want to waste anymore money and time scouting around for other foundation, like what I've done all this while)
Thank you

MAC Studio Fix....I have tried so many others and this one is worth the extra money...plus the MAC people will help you get the right shade so no worries about buying the wrong color! AND another plus it is not a liquid but covers EXCELLENTLY and is EASY to apply! I LOVE IT!!! Good luck! :):)

I use Affordable Mineral Makeup. I have tried a few others, but they either contains small amounts of preservatives or are made up with a lot of fillers. The mineral makeup goes a long way. It is a little bit more than some of the drugstore foundations but it will last longer. It brings out your natural beauty while minimizing any flaws or wrinkles. It is multi-purpose and very versatile. Affordable Mineral Makeup is micro-formulated using the highest quality minerals and botanicals; being naturally preservative and irritant-free it is also weightless and incredibly long-wearing. It does not clog pores and it has a naturally high SPF. It helps to calm and soothe irritated skin with its zinc content, and is water resistant. Providing excellent coverage.
Affordable Mineral Makeup does not contain Bismuth Oxychloride like many of the other mineral foundations do. Bismuth can clog your pores and cause your skin to itch. There are problems associated with it. Its molecular makeup is a crystalline shape, which may be a cause of the itchiness some women get when they wear it. Many women experience noticeable itching when they sweat. Don't forget it is also kin to arsenic, chemically. Your body will reject things it does not like, and if you'll get sick from ingesting arsenic, it would make sense that your skin would get irritated from having arsenic forced into it. Companies use Bismuth in their cosmetics because it is cheap to buy and is an inexpensive filler. It does have binding qualities, so the makeup will "stick" to your skin, so to speak. But there are other products that are just as effective at adhesion, and are better for your skin.
Many other makeups contain preservatives that are also not good for your skin.

Affordable Mineral Makeup enables you to feel free, experience natural beauty and is good for you.

Benefits of Affordable Mineral Makeup itself:
Each ingredient has its own special quality and purpose in the makeup.
These are the ingredients making up Affordable Mineral Makeup, pure and simple.
•Zinc Oxide is known for its healing properties in problem skin such as rosacea and acne, it has the ability to stay on even while sweating and swimming, as well as offers protection from the sun's harmful UV rays.
•Titanium Dioxide also has waterproof and SPF properties while providing a Matte look.
•Mica has some transparent properties and allows the makeup to go on smoothly.
•Iron Oxides give the makeup its pigment.

Bare Minerals is the best foundation out there. Millions of women use it because it covers all imperfections and makes your skin look flawless. At the same time, you can barely tell that you are wearing makeup!! It is purely made out of minerals so it does not clog your pores because it is oil-free and talc-free. It is actually healthy for your skin, you can even sleep in it! If you buy the starter kit it contains everything you need, 2 shades of foundation, bronzer/blush, a concealer brush and 2 more brushes. It costs about $60 but it is so worth it because it will last you months!! It even comes with an instructional DVD that shows you the best way to use it. Hope this helps, it is well worth the money. After all it is your face, you should only use the best. Good luck!!

Clinique does have an awesome foundation made special for acne prone skin. There whole foundation line is great for sensitive skin. I would also recommend bare minerals,it's a little pricier but it lasts a really long time and doesn't irritate skin.My skin gets irritated easy and these are the two products I use that don't give me any issues.I hope this helps.

you can try avon or Mary Kay.

remember that, the good foundation is worth buying, since it can use many times, and it is good for skin.

you don't need a foundation if you have good skin. you can wear mascara and lip strick with cheeck power. then you are ready to go. foundation is for someone elder with not a good skin.

i am 25 years old, with 10 years make-up experience. i find that the less i put make-up, the better i look. people can see the nature beauty and you only need to enhance your best features.

good skin is the key, and always keep your skin well by drinking water, and have yogurt and fruit, so, you just look great naturely with a cheap prices.

For me, I use Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Creme Foundation(not because I'm old ,though). It works well for me because I have dry skin. check out www.maybelline.com, www.lorealparisusa.com,www.covergirl.com, or www.almay.com to get more suggestions.

I even ought to vouch for the Revlon Colorstay besides. it is remarkable. It covers and blends fantastically, has an excellent colour-determination, and it is elementary to artwork with. it is about $10 at Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS, ceremony-help, really elementary to locate.

L'Oreal True match foundation...though not as good as Almay's SmartShade or Max Factor's foundation...it is still quite good and you'll pay less.

Revlon "Color Stay" is definitely the best.. they have 2 types
1) the red cap- is for dry skin
2) the black cap- is for oily, or combination skin

it really does stay on all day. and only cost $10 to $12

I tried MAC, and I wasn't happy with it. I really like the Cover Girl True Blend.
