Looking for 1980's romance/fiction novel?

Question

The title is something like "garden of secrets" or garden.... something. Basically the storyline is about 2 girls switched at birth, set in NY or NJ. One of the girls character name is Rose. One rich the other raised by single father. Their paths cross as adults they fall for the same guy.
I usually don't read romance novels but I stumbled on this one in 1990 and it was a pretty good read.

Book is called "Garden of Lies" by Eileen Goudge. There is a sequel out called Thorns of Truth, both available on Amazon.com.
