yeah. i know that i already want it because my mom just bought some and i tried it on and it looked rly great.

the bare escentuals websites sells you .12 of an ounce of foundation + .06 of an ounce of mineral veil + 0.6 of an ounce of warmth + brushes + some freebies for $70.

you could get .3 of an ounce of foundation + .47 of an ounce of mineral veil + .03 of an ounce of warmth + brushes for about $100.

but if you get bareminerals you get 20% of foundation from their website forever.

what would you choose?

I get it through their website. You can get a good deal on the beginner's kit and then you get enrolled into their membership club and Leslie sends you free gifts! haha. Plus you get it cheaper every month because you're in their club thing =) I love BareMinerals. At first I absolutely hated it, but once you get to using it after about a week and get the hang of it and learn how to apply it it's great! I can wear it without worrying about make up melting off my face.

DEFINITELY sephora. i bought mine from the site and the shipping cost me like $15!!! and then i ended up hating the product anyway: not only did it break me out horribly, but it made me shine so badly. also, i couldn't find a color match; the selection is really limited.

if you want my advice (this is what i do), buy BE brushes from sephora and get your mineral makeup somewhere else. i'm in love with a company called www.aubreynicole.com .
excellent coverage,
SO natural looking (extremely important for me, b/c i hate the fake makeup look!)
NO bismuth oxychloride (which BE has -- it's the "itch" ingredient, lol),
YES on the kaolin clay (which increases lasting power & controls shine.

granted, they're on the internet, but their samples are SO cheap ( http://www.aubreynicole.com/store/home.php?cat=285 ), that you can afford to miss. (though you should be able to find your shade easily, since they offer like 3 foundations in each pack, and if you ask for more, she'll probably give it to you! she's super-nice.) and you'll already have your brushes, so you're good to go! :D

I recently purchased mineral makeup off of ebay and I love it. I got 3 different colors of foundation, blush, bronzer, glow, mineral veil, eyeliner, concealer and a brush for under 20 bucks. its small( try it ) containers but will last about 3 months. It does not have the ingredient that makes you itch(that is in bare essentuals.) And you can mix them and acheive the perfect color.

my bf bought it for me at sephora. But i think it would be the same thing. A little advice though, i kind of regret asking for it. It made my face look ashy. Not only me, i know this woman that said the same thing. also, Bareminerals made my skin itch. I was very disappointed after awhile. It's probably not the same for everyone but it wasn't a good thing for me. I only like their concealer.

You are better off trying it on at the store. I don't like it bc it's too shiny for me and accentuates imperfections. I much prefer Jane Iredale and I use two compacts per year which only costs $48/compact. It's very natural looking.

I suggest purchasing it in person because you get to see if the makeup matches your skin tone or not.

Plus, you can test it out at Sephora like I did!

I would get it at the website. You would get everything you would at the store, but often there are additional deals you can get on-line that you cannot get at the store.

Here are the on line deals you can get: http://www.24houredeals.com/sephora-coupons-45-mer.html

Those deals can help you get a better value than at the store. I hope this helps.

just compare it. but most likely you're going to get the best value through their site because sephora is going to charge more because they need to make a profit

neither---try QVC.com. they are always running good specials. look through their show times for bare minerals. they only run it once in a while but you can score some awesome deals!
