Mine didn't really hurt that much. It was more like a persistant ache for a couple weeks. That went away though. If I hit the piercing just right though, it would hurt pretty badly for 10-20 seconds, even after a year+. I ended up taking it out, just because I didnt really want it anymore...

Do it, it's not that bad. You'll always wonder if you never do it!!

1) Didn't hurt too bad. I remember pain and can't remember it hurting that bad. The healing process I do remember. :) I had some painful moments. Keep it clean and turn the piercing a lot to avoid "crusting". Try not to sleep on the ear at all. Don't bump it or you will cry :) 2) probably more than stubbing a toe, but definitely less than just about cutting your finger off! hehe 3) I got it done with a piercing needle. I highly recommend a piercing needle. I don't know anyone who got it done with the gun personally, but have heard many times the needle is better. And DON'T watch them do it, it hurts worse LOL

The piercing part was quick and pretty much painless as the guy who did mine pierced it with a needle instead of a gun. It throbbed for quite a while and I couldn't sleep on that side because it hurt. Also, I developed a cyst by it that wouldn't go away so that made it worse. I love my piercing, but it took a year before it stopped hurting completely. I would do it again in a heartbeat because of how much I love it, regardless of the pain that I went through. To me, it was totally worth it.

It feels like when you get the bottom of your ear done. The only difference is that it is very sensitive afterwards and for a longer period of time that when you get the bottom done. I have mine pierced and a week after, I answered the phone but I forgot it was still sensitive! OUCH! But it didn't bleed or anything and the pain went away quickly. If I were you, I'd have it done because it didn't hurt when it was initially pierced. Afterwards, if it bothers you a lot, you could remove it! Have fun!

I have gotten that done and it hurt!!!! I have several piercings, but that one bothered me the most.

The worst part is trying to sleep on that side of your head. If you are going to get this done, make sure you get it done on the side you don't sleep on or roll over during the night. Ouch!

On the plus side, it looks great! Good luck!

Didn't hurt me at all! Just hurts to sleep on it for a few nights! Keep it very clean because if it gets infected you will get a gross bump in the back!
