Of course, of course, it is totally natural, it simply show that you still have a heart! But sometimes our head cannot connect to the waves of emotion than go on deep inside us. We accumulate sadness and the tears build up into a pool or a lake within the depths of our hearts, then one day, the lake is full and it overflows - for no apparent reason. But it may also be triggered by something "in the air" Winter time is usual for a collective sadness, we are all a little sad in the colder times with less sunshine to boost the happiness hormones. Sadness is an emotion that can be unseen but can be felt. So its possible you have some built up sadness of your own and it is triggered by your sensitivity to collective moods. Don't worry - have a real good sob - for now reason - then you will find you feel so good and healthy and happier. And remember - robots cannot cry - so your tears show you are human.

I know the feeling. Yes, there are days when I feel like crying for no reason and there are days when I do for a lot of reasons. Reasons that I would rather not go into on here. This has been one of those times I want to cry for a reason, but I won't let myself do it, because I have too much pride and you get to the point where you just don't give a d*mn anymore.

I feel that too. Or I cry over something so piddly and insignificant, then I look back later and wonder why the hell it made me cry. Sometimes it might have to do with hormone fluctuations. I am in perimenopause, and PMS cycles hit me really hard. I was also hyperemotional when I was pregnant. Try not to let your overwhelming feelings make you mad. Even if you don't know the reason, somewhere there is one.

My hormones are completely out of whack.
I came home from college for the weekend, and I started crying because my bed was freshly made with new sheets...a great feeling, but really stupid reason to cry.

No not really. I usually have a reason for crying. Maybe you really feel upset but you're fighting it and you end up crying. But yeah sometimes I cry and I can't help it and it's soo embarrassing.

Yes, when I want to I just pop in a romantic movie....so my bf thinks I'm crying because of the movie....he'd think I am silly if he found out I was crying just because I needed to and felt like it.

Take note of when this happens . . . the episodes may just coincide with your ovulation/premenstrual phase. Hormonal changes that occur during this period sometimes affect the emotional status.
