its a macbook..and it is frozen and i cant do anything. should i take the battery out.....is it bad to..or what?

Most of the time you should be able to hold down the power key, or most laptops have a main switch that cuts power no matter what. As far as the battery, its really not a great idea to pull the battery when its running, its kinda like your heart just stopping... your body goes into shock. The laptop's intergrated circits are very very fragile, even if you think it wouldnt hurt anythings weird things can happen. if you must do it, (its the only way to get it to turn off) then go for it, but i would try not to make a habbit out of it.

As long as you are near a plug, plug in the laptop and take out the battery... this will increase life, and also, if even if you plug it in, you will shorten its life when you are using it, due to the fact you are charging the battery while you are pulling from it.. they dont like it too much..

No, it will not not do any damage at all. Actually, there is a suggestion that taking out the battery, and running it directly on mains will save your battery.

In the case of the exploding batteries, this might be a good idea.

i think the second person are right......
it it no bad effect tht u unplug the battery out from the notebook when you are not using it...
and with this your battery can use more longer
