Interview with a Vampire is good, so is Underworld (both movies), Some versions of Dracula, The Lost Boys is okay, All the Blade movies, I know Buffy is a show, but its my favorite and so is Angel.... good vamp books: Twilight the series, Peeps the series, any Anne Rice book

PS. If you like vamp. stuff you might like resident evil (its a zombie movie though)

Any of the Hammer vampire movies. Movies with Peter Cushing or Christopher Lee. Don't discount British horrors movies .....some of them were classic. Lust of a Vampire, The Vampire Lovers and of course Horror of Dracula. All excellent Hammer vampire movies.

Lust for a Vampire (1971)
In 1830, forty years to the day since the last manifestation of their dreaded vampirism, the Karnstein heirs use the blood of an innocent to bring forth the evil that is the beautiful Mircalla - or as she was in 1710, Carmilla. The nearby Finishing School offers rich pickings not only in in the blood of nubile young ladies but also with the headmaster who is desperate to become Mircalla's disciple, and the equally besotted and even more foolish author Richard Lestrange...one of my favs from the past...Carmilla is a dish as well.

Razor Blade Smile (1998)
A 19th century woman (Eileen Daley), who has become one of the undead, acts as a hired killer in modern times.....bloody hilarious piece of work.


Dance of the Damned (1988)
A vampire follows his instincts to a strip joint where he focuses in on one of the performers. He picks her for his meal because she is contemplating suicide, but he wants to share her life before taking it, and during the course of the evening they discuss their differences, their fears, and their lifestyles. As the moment of truth approaches, the woman decides whether she wants to live or die.......a very suprising, low budget classic...

My all time fav...Mario Bava's Mask of Satan (aka Maschera del demonio, La (1960)
A vengeful witch and her fiendish servant return from the grave and begin a bloody campaign to possess the body of the witch's beautiful look-alike descendant. Only the girl's brother and a handsome doctor stand in her way....

black and white classic...they will never make movies like this again...ever.


The Hunger (1983)
The Egyptian vampire lady Miriam subsists upon the blood of her lovers. In return the guys or girls don't age... until Miriam has enough of them. Unfortunately that's currently the case with John, so his life expectancy is below 24 hours. Desperately he seeks help from the famous Dr. Sarah Roberts. She doesn't really belive his story, but becomes curious and contacts Miriam ...
excellent...Susan sarandon is good as is David Bowie and Catherine Deneuve...

The Night Flier (1997)
Two investigative reporters for a tabloid magazine track down across country "The Night Flier", a serial killer who travels by private plane stalking victims in rural airports. One of the reporters, Richard Dees, begins to suspect that "the Night Flier could perhaps be a vampire".
