your body is getting ready for the delivery. It sounds like you are starting to have contractions. This is normal. The closer you get to your due date to stronger and closer together they will get. If the pain becomes unbearable go ahead and go to the emergency room it may be time to receive your bundle of joy. Good luck and best wishes. Children are gifts enjoy every minute

They may possibly be Braxton Hicks, these started in my lower abdomen and I went to the hospital and they confirmed that it was Braxton Hicks and I was actually not dilating even though my waters had broke. I am one of the lucky ones though I think because my contractions were low down also and they weren't painful at all - midwife reckons I had a strong threshold - hopefully you will have also.

my contractions felt like really bad cramps. braxton hicks contractions will be mainly in the top of your belly. real contractions are down low. if you are having them every once and a while, there is no need to worry.

You'll know.... real contraction kind of wrap around from you back.... they become more intense, and longer, and more frequent. Probably Braxton-Hicks.... when it happens again try getting up and walking around... get a glass of water....if it goes away, you're fine.

i jsut had my baby and for the last two weeks i had horrible pains in my stomach but you will know when it is time because the pains you feel before you go into labor are nothing compared to the pains you feel when you are in labor.

I would suggest timing them if they are regular then u may want to go to the hospital you are probably not in "hard" labor you would definetly know that, but it could be that the process is starting. Good Luck and God bless.
